PDP : A BETTER ALTERNATIVE OR THE SAME FRUIT FROM THE POLITICAL TREE

        "No competition, No progress" - Bela Karolyi  Competition whether harmless or harmful is present in every sphere of life so no exception can be made to the political life of Nigerian whereby the competition for the seat of power becomes more intense as the elections draw nearer.  But, it is important to note that this competition is not usually amongst the over 96 political parties present in the country but is most time between two major ones i.e PDP and APC.  Next year's political race was also expected to be the same until, PETER OBI (aka OBI-DIENT) decided to withdraw from PDP and cross-carpet or deflect to LABOUR PARTY (LP), that is why politics is an unpredictable game.So, next year's power race is between PDP, APC AND LP.  But our main focus for today and subsequent posts is on one of these prospective competitors and that is PDP.  Like I did for APC in my previous posts, I would also talk about the history of the party and som...

 "Battle of the wits, the law of evolution says only the strongest will survive"- The tussle for the flag bearer of APC goes tougher by the day as new aspirants begin to announce their desire to also contest for this position.     The level at which a lot of people announced their desire to contest during the APC primaries for the presidential candidate post was so alarming as people began to wonder how easy it was for these people to pull out 100million naira just to purchase a single form.  But, this shock was meant to be short-lived because as quick as these aspirants were to announce their desires to contest, they were also quick enough to announce their withdrawal from this race.
